CM Dobrin Ionut-Alexandru

My name is Ionut-Alexandru Dobrin (for short Alex), and I am a Candidate Master with a peak OTB rating of 2215 ELO and peak online rating of 2483. At the young age of 19, I have already honed my skills and knowledge of the game to a highly competitive level. I have a passion for teaching and have previously coached kids to success in official chess competitions.

As a highly accomplished chess coach, I draw on my extensive experience as a multiple-time top-10 finisher in my country's junior national tournaments. This background has given me a keen understanding of the competitive landscape and the skill sets required to excel at the highest levels of play. I bring this expertise to bear in my instructional approach, leveraging my experience to help my students hone their technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and competitive mindset to achieve their full potential.
