Puzzle rating bug

They changed the puzzle format and killed all our ratings.
So I see. I wonder if in hindsight it would have been fairer to leave achievements alone than to decimate them, or even an online poll to see whether it is generally regarded that resetting the puzzle rating was even remotely fair.
You mean the old puzzle rating is gone? Yes, such is the way with new things. People complained about the old puzzles forever and it seems most people are happy with the new ones, unfortunately we can't keep the same ratings. If your level with your rating was accurate it should return quickly.
"They changed the puzzle format and killed all our ratings."

Kind of a melodramatic way to put it. With new puzzle systems come new ratings. The old ratings simply aren't accurate
@somethingpretentious I have only one question and as a mod hopefully will be able to answer this: does the change in the puzzles means, that they will reflect elo more closely? Because afaik the lichess rating system is little bit inflated compare to FIDE and so does this mean that after some time, I should be now more confident that my puzzle rating is more accurate? Like I know lichess have it's own rating system and what not, but can you give us maybe a little more light into what has changed behind curtain and how this will affect this completely relative and fictional number that is associated with chess puzzles? Will it be able to go and have 8000 elo on puzzles just as on chess.com or will you after some time get only +0 on every good answered puzzle? And does this mean that there will be some other changes like this, rating-wise, in the games as well or is this it? Thanks.
No plan for game rating changes, this was just for puzzles. Behind the curtain, I don't understand the technical side, there was some kind of restriction that stopped new puzzles losing as much rating as they should when solved. All the code is on GitHub if you're of a technical persuasion.

FIDE uses the old and simplistic Elo ratings, which start at 1200.

Lichess uses the newer and better Glicko ratings, which start at 1500.

If it's inflated then celsus degrees are inflated compared to fahrenheit.
