I have lost 200 points in the puzzle exercises

Hey mine is worse. From one puzzle my wrong gets -332!

for me in two days -344 :(. I think I need to gain points from mate in one

becasue i have done more than 600 puzzles and it still gvies me those '?' symbol. I think its a bug

-162 in one unsolved puzzle is my 'personal best' on normal, healthy mix.

I never win that many points for solved puzzles. Sometimes I even get zero or one points for every solved puzzle for a while.

I went to 2960 and it seemed relatively easy but then I got punished. Oh well...

I think your rating deviation is above 110 or something. It is called provisional rating. check out my horde rating if you want to. there is the same '?' . but most probably provisional rating is also denoted with the rating of the player of the particular variant and '?' . if you want, you can check my puzzle rating. I played over 1195 puzzles and still it is provisional. It is because the rating deviation is more than 110..

Looks like ratings have been reset for everyone. Quite an awful surprise, I feel entitled to cheat myself back all the way up, and so should you ...

To everyone and especially to @Cedur216 : Don't cheat! I know it sucks, but really, the ratings you have lost can be easily gained back, if you don't screw up a lot of them at one go. Like if you screwed one puzzle and that's all the puzzles you have solved in this new system, then no worries, you will gain it backwith couple of puzzles if you are lucky and they will give you +98 ones. I lost 100 or 200 points, but now I gained that many by just solving the puzzles and being careful and so can you. Take this as an opportunity and not a doomsday situation. And enjoy this "shitty" lemons type of christmas gift and try to squeeze as much points as you can out of it!

Ok "simplest puzzles" are probably a better way to get back up but then I also mouseslipped and -68 lol
