This is the Group for the Gauteng North Official Provincial Closed Trials. This is a by Invite only Tournament.

NO FRIENDLY matches in between rounds. It affects our ability to see the scores.

Load shedding Rule

If you are experiencing load shedding and can’t play (cannot make a plan within 20 minutes) you will lose the game – however if the game never started and you believe it made a material difference to you landing in the top two or not in the bottom 2, then you can appeal and the organisers will decide if a rematch is in order and attempt to arrange it

• however, if it is not possible to arrange, the person that could not play due to load shedding will lose.
• You will have to provide your Load shedding schedule for your area to prove that your game was disrupted due to load shedding.
• The opponent may not claim the game until a 20-minute waiting period has passed to give the other player the opportunity to make an alternative plan.
  If players mutually agree to play games on another time this can be arranged among yourself as long as all rounds that were due for the day are completed on that day.

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER
If your opponent lose connection there will be a button in lichess to claim the win. Do not click this You have to give your opponent at least 20 minutes to reconnect before you are allowed to claim the win. With load shedding and everything lets give our opponent a fair chance to make a plan and reconnect.
