Currently there is no option to withdraw/cancel the offer of a draw if the button is accidentally pressed. It is very easy to slip and click "offer draw" and there should be a cancel button.
In an OTB game, if I'm not mistaken, your not allowed to retract a draw. I think thats the reason the withdraw was removed. And how is it easy to slip and click? It is quite far away from the board, unless your trying to resign or offer a takeback.
It is not allowed to cancel a draw. Fide rules don't allow it, rightly so lichess doesn't allow it. If you push that button by accident then it's bad luck. You can't take back a resignment or a mouseslip as well. It's the same thing there.
The only time I can imagine a person accidentally offering a draw is if they meant to resign but hit draw on accident. So I don't see how you could accidentally offer a draw while playing a game.
How the hell do you manage to slip from the board to the draw button and also manage to press it by accident LOL :)
I have hit it when checking to see the last move, rather than slipping from the board which is obviously quite a distance away.
maybe make the draw button require a double click like the resign one

#8 No, it's not true, you can make a move yourself and the draw offer is still valid until your opponent moves.
