This is getting interesting now. Keep up the hard work and ignore the trolls. The data you're collecting is quite relevant and a lot of folks will wind up referring to it.

Thanks, @WarOverABoard . This was not entirely my idea, however. I was inspired by @smarterchess from his blog:

I looked at the regression diagnostics with that data and it seems he did miss a few outliers (or at least a few strange/unusual submissions). The regression model I came up with was not substantially different from his, however.

I did try polynomial regression but it ended up being not too different from the linear regression, so I opted for the more simple one.

Man...there's not enough data to work with there :(
