Thematic Crazyhouse Chess Tournaments

I think it would be a really cool feature to have thematic style crazyhouse chess tournaments similar to the current thematic bullet tournaments, and I think a lot of players would enjoy it.

Rather than just having one opening for the whole tournament, it would be a awesome to be able to have different starting positions for each game.

A lot of players tend to struggle with zh openings and often make inaccuracies that are easy to exploit by stronger players. Starting about 8 moves in will make the game 'fairer' and put more emphasis on 'playing the game'.

I also suggest this because the game is becoming a bit repetitive up to a certain point. Players seem less willing to explore different openings since crazyhouse can be extremely unforgiving. Even a very short opening sequence like 1.e4 e6 or 1.Nf3 could be enough to encourage creativity.

I'm not 100% sure how the @ feature works, but I thought it'd be nice to notify these players about this thread and see what they think about this.

960 crazyhouse could also be considered

Its nice to get fresh positions in crazyhouse.
so i support it.
It would be even nicer if you can play a tournament from a position you can put it on a board.
in chess i would like to play to create tournament for example with 1e4e52Ne2 d6 3f4 Bh3!? the point is 4gxh3 Qh4+ 5Ng3 exf4 6Qh5 Be7.
but the didnt allow it to play a tournament for any position and i understand it.
Btw i wanna create a crazyhouse tournament on Saturday around 9 o clock you all are welcome!

I thought about re-suggesting 960 zh (I think it'd be great to have it), but I don't think it's quite the same as starting from a middle game type position. =I find we can spend a lot of time in unfamiliar openings rather than using it in the later stages of the game.

@opperwezen I think that would be also be a nice feature to have when creating a custom tournament. If I'm free, I'll come and join your tournament :)

and you got a fischerrandom postion.
