I was wondering how, say, the growth in Lichess membership, has affected ratings numbers Vs their distribution.
Are there any stats on this?

I remember 1900 being better than 85 % of players and my current rating (1770) indicates the same percentile. So I think it did change over time.
Need more infos to confirm.
also amount of people in pool has changed SO ´ it could be that there are more weaker players now?
Anyways ratings are relative. meant to find about equal opponent and not for anythign else
Would it be possible to get percentile graphs from a past time on Lichess?
