Lichess has acknowledged that its Masters Database needs work but unfortunately falls below other priorities. Chessgames will give you 46 games with comments from the site's users, assuming you can deal with the ads. :)
To find historic GM games in Lichess, your best bet may be to search in the studies collection - while keeping in mind that this is user generated content and there may be mistakes....
