The reasons I have stopped reporting cheaters.

My two wins and the draw were by the skin of my teeth, and the seven losses were either blowouts or games where he was never in trouble at any point, and I was never able to get counter play.

This would justify something that does not deserve as much attention and could unnecessarily burden your PMs: what does it benefit you to know if an opponent has cheated? report is a better option: you write a report, including games (and therefore evidence) and you don't hear from them again unless you get your points refunded.

The benefit is that it gives me confidence that their cheat detection system is running and operating as it should.

It's your choice, I respect it. but it would bother me to receive 3-4 messages like that per week or per month.
