Format

All games are rated and have 1 + 2 as time control.

An 11-round robin tournament will be played between all participants. Each participant will play a match of 10 games per round. A game won gives 1 point, a draw gives 0.5 points, and a game lost gives 0 points. Once each player reaches 5.5 points, players are allowed to stop there. .
The first 4 qualify for the semifinals
These will be 1st place with 3rd place and 2nd place with 4th place
The semifinals will be played in 10 games. Once each player reaches 5.5 points, players are allowed to stop there. .
The grand final and the low final will be played 12 rounds between the winners of the semifinals and the losers
These can be stopped when the score of 6.5 points is reached
In case of a tie in the semifinals or finals, an Armageddon game will be called
Armageddon Rules

An armageddon game decides the winner:
Black gets 3 minutes on the clock and draws odds (i.e. if draws, Black wins).
Both players make a time offer for White. The lowest offer plays white.
In case of identical offers, a game of rock-paper-scissors will determine who gets White.
There is no increase.
Match rules (applying at all stages)

Each player has the right to call a break once during the match, between two games. The break lasts at most 10 minutes.
If no break is called, a rematch must be offered and accepted immediately. Repeated failure in doing so leads to a forfeit.
If a player is offline at the time of the match, they have a 10 minute grace period to come online and start the game. The appearing player has to message the TDs that their opponent did not show up and again 10 minutes afterwards if the opponent still didn’t show up. The appearing player has the choice to reschedule or claim a win. If the appearing player does not claim a win and rescheduling fails, the match will be forfeited in favor of the appearing player.
If a player leaves the match while it's still ongoing, they get 10 minutes to come back and this counts as their break. If they don't come back in time, their opponent gets the option to claim a win (similar to rule VI.C).
If a player gets forfeited in two different matches, they get disqualified from the LAWC.
After a match, either player must post the results in the Pairings forum post.

A correction to the rules, the semifinals will be played 1/4 and 2/3
Replaces the text "A game won gives 1 point, a draw gives 0.5 points, and a game lost gives 0 points", with 1 victory can mean 55p or 60p depending on the result of the match, a draw means 50 points for both players and a defeat means the number of points obtained multiplied by 10
For example, at a score of 5.5 = 4.5, the winner gets 55p and the loser 45 points
