Wordcup heads up in lichess

Let's make tourney like in wordcup! Heads up! But only one time control....for example it can be on 3 min only, on 1 min only, on 5 min only. If the two opponents have same points after the two games they will play bullet , white with 1 min and 30 sec, black with 1 min but drawing chances !! It will be intence!
Also, instead of elimination of the players, they continue !!!! if 128 players play , and i lost first round, instead of elimination, i continue to fight for place 64 to 128! it will be cool , please make ii!

Please everybody coment and put feedback on my idea! I will be so happy if this happens on lichess.org!!!!
Then will stream it, only this one ! :D

I think it is a good idea, but the time control for the normal games should be not to short, 5 minutes at least, better 8, 10 or 15.

yes, it could be with increment also., lets say 5 min + 3 sec
I wonder is there any way to make the guys who finish their games earlier, lets say approximately the time for one round would be like 12 minutes the longest game, but how to make the guys who finish for 4 minutes , what they dom not to wait? or they just wait any ideas.....the lengthe of the tourney shou;dn be more than 2 hours i guess !

5+0 is a standart time for every blitz/bullet players , 2 games with different colours = ~20 minutes, so if there was 124 players we need to make 1st round to eliminate 64 players from the top, then the second round to eliminate another 32 etc.. so we have to organise 5 rounds (~5x20 = 100 minutes) AND 4 TOP PLAYERS COULD JOIN THE FINAL ROUND.

~soldier89_kn -> That is a great idea with this tournament ! Lichess World Cup Could be a really fantastic event! And i see you doing much on Lichess, you play a lot + make a stream very often, You write a lot and start ideas just like this one ! Hope you won't stop! :)
